Bhopal Runners along with Bhopal Organ donation society launched its flagship event “Re- Cycle Organ” on 07 February 2021 i.e., on Sunday from 9am to 11am to sensitize people to Re cycle their organs after death and become saviors of quenching lives along with a cycle rally to promote cycle friendly initiatives.

Transplant coordinators Training was organised in collaboration with MOHAN Foundation, Chennai. Dr. Sumna Navin, Course Director, MOHAN Foundation and other national luminaries in the field of organ transplant delivered their talk on various aspects of organ transplant.
One day workshop on National deceased donation and sensitization workshop under the aegis of NOTTO, Delhi on July 16, 2017 at Hotel Lakeview Ashoka. The Workshop had the world-renowned National faculties who undertook the insightful sessions. Prof. Dr. Vimal Bhandari, Director, NOTTO ; Dr Sujata Patwardhan, Secretary, ROTTO, Mumbai; Dr Ram Prasad, Ms Sangeeta Sherawat, DR Kamakshi Bhaate were the national luminaries who shared their wisdom and insights during the workshop on various aspects of brain death and deceased organ donation.. The Workshop was conducted under the aegis of NOTTO for all government and private hospitals.. It was the first such sensitization workshop to be held in Bhopal for Intensivists, Neurologists, Neurosurgeons and Critical care Nurses. The objective of the workshop was to give participants the necessary knowledge and skill to tackle the various aspects of brain death and deceased organ donation.

The sensitized approach, the expert counselling of the organization along with the support of society, administration and health institutions have made it possible to turn the dream of a robust organ donation program in the city into a reality.
